Next Door Blues
A great night of dancing, learning and socialising hosted by Adelaide's very own Meral Nieman. Whether you love to blues dance or have never taken a dance class in your life, this night is perfect for you. Why not come along to the class at the start of the night and pick up some new moves to show off on the dance floor? The comfy couches and dimmed lights make for a fantastic way to spend your evening. A great opportunity for everyone to meet new people, relax and enjoy the best LIVE music in the world on the dance floor.
Next Door Blues supports LIVE music from the most talented musicians in Adelaide, having different bands play each time.

4. The Backwater Blues and Roots Festival in South Australia: 21-30 October
A 10-day blues party held across South Australia. That is what the Backwater Blues and Roots Festival is all about.
Next Door Blues will be involved with performances and Blues Dance classes.
This is an event NOT to miss! 21-30 October 2011.

5. The Inaugural Legends of New Orleans Tour - October 6th @ The Thebarton Theatre
The Inaugural Legends of New Orleans Tour will be swinging into Adelaide on October 6th at The Thebarton Theatre
The tour is the first of its kind in Australia and features some serious heavyweights from the New Orleans scene including rock and roll hall of famer Allen Toussaint in his first ever Australia appearance, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Jon Cleary with new band The Philthy Phew.

Adelaide should be dubbed the City of Blues, since it will be everywhere these next few weeks!
Don't miss out on Bling in Spring, Adelaide's hottest Blues and Swing Dance event of the year on the 3rd of October...which has almost sold out, so hurry and register now!
Less than a week later, The Juke Joint Blues Festival will hit Adelaide, plating up a feast of the best blues music this country has to offer. Next Door Blues will be part of this fantastic festival, teaching blues dance classes and DJ-ing in band breaks.
No more than a week after that, Church City Blues will come along and wash all our troubles away. Unfortunately this event has already sold out, but check out the website and get excited for next year!

Look forward to the Level 2 and Level 1 class with this fantastic interstate dancer and teacher, as well as some great social dancing to his sweet tunes. Contact Meral if you are interested in private lessons during the day on Sunday the 4th of October. This is one Next Door Blues not to miss!!

The first Next Door Blues was fantastic! Thanks to all those that came along to the class and to those who had a dance afterwards. You all looked so great :) A mention has to go to the people who stayed to dance til the end! Thank you for making it a fun night.
All in all a very succesful first night. Keep an eye on the website a possible BIG surprise coming up in the next NDB! Also, instead of just one, there will be two classes from now on, have a look at details here.
